The final group match of the Pakistan Super League 2022 is going to be played between the Lahore Qalandars and Peshawar Zalmi. Both these teams have already qualified for the playoffs and the Lahore Qalandars are more or less certain to finish in the top-2 as well.

The Lahore Qalandars have won three out of their previous four matches including a confident win over Islamabad United as its most recent match. The team is going to be playing without Rashid Khan in this match who has now left for international duty for Afghanistan.
His absence will definitely weaken the bowling lineup and so having a match without any consequence before the playoffs will work in the Lahore Qalandars' favor as they figure out the best replacement.
Shaheen Afridi, Haris Rauf, and David Wiese will continue to play in the lineup and that is still more than enough bowling quality to win you matches. Zaman Khan also bowled very well in the previous match and could play an important role too.
From a betting point of view, the chances that a bowler like Shaheen Afridi is going to make a bigger impact has only increased since there is one less quality bowler to compete for wickets. He could be a good option for the top bowler betting market.
The Lahore Qalandars are also absolutely blessed to have Fakhar Zaman in the best form imaginable. He has failed in just one match so far and is the highest run scorer of PSL 2022 by a massive distance. Now that Harry Brook has also shown his capability as a finisher, it will take some of the pressure away from Phil Salt, Kamran Ghulam, and David Wiese.
The Lahore Qalandars are a very strong team and appear to be in a slightly better position than Peshawar Zalmi.

Peshawar Zalmi has won its previous three matches and is peaking at just the right time. It would be a massive mistake to count it out in this contest. They have discovered a potential future Pakistani batting star in Mohammad Haris who top-scored with 70 from just 32 deliveries in the previous match.
He will substantially strengthen the batting top-order and we think he is likely to be joined by Haider Ali for this match in the opening position.
Liam Livingstone has been ruled out due to injury, Hazratullah Zazai is going to be unavailable because of national duty, and so a number of changes will be needed.
This could make Peshawar Zalmi a bit vulnerable in the batting going into this match.
The ever-dependable Shoaib Malik is a good option to bet on in this match. Look for the Over/Under betting markets for total runs scored by him. We recommend betting on the 'Over'.
The bowling attack for Peshawar Zalmi is also going to be a bit compromised without Livingstone. he was bowling four overs consistently for them. Wahab Riaz, Usman Qadir, Ben Cutting, Hussain Talat, and Salman Irshad are all good bowlers but they can all be very expensive as well.
The balance of the team is a bit off and we could see a different Peshawar Zalmi performance from what we have seen in the previous three matches.

The weather is good and is of no concern as far as the match goes. The pitch in the Gaddafi Stadium is now significantly slower than when we started the Lahore leg of matches. The ball becomes difficult to score off after it gets a bit older and this is why the number of sixes in each match has also gone down.
A score of around 170 seems to be par and pretty competitive now.
