Karnataka and Saurashtra are two of India's most successful domestic sides across all formats and they will be looking for a title finish in the ongoing Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy as well. These two sides are now set to take on each other in an important contest that is to be played on 16th November 2021. The match will be played at Feroz Shah Kotla Cricket Stadium, Delhi.
Karnataka didn't have a tournament as good as they would have wanted it to be and they will be looking to make amends as they hit the knockout stage. They would have wanted to grab the top-spot at the end of the group stage, but Bengal stole that from them.
They finished with 16 points to their name with a net run rate of 0.379. On paper, they have an excellent side, but they will be missing their key players either because of India national call up or because of the A-team call up.
They will be without Mayank Agarwal, K Gowtham, Prasidh Krishna, and Devdutt Padikkal and that is going to be a big setback. They would need their rest of players to step up and if that happens, Karnataka will be one dangerous team to deal with.
