The final few group matches of IPL 2022 are upon us and this next one is going to be played between the Kolkata Knight Riders and Sunrisers Hyderabad. Both KKR and SRH are still in the running for a playoff spot. SRH has five wins from eleven matches and could join DC and PBKS on six wins from twelve matches.
KKR has five wins from twelve matches and will need a minor miracle to be able to qualify but for that theoretical chance to come into play, it has to win both of its remaining matches by a big margin.
The IPL betting sites are currently offering shorter odds for KKR to win this match in comparison to SRH. This is interesting and we think offers an excellent betting opportunity.
Match prediction and IPL betting tips for KKR vs SRH IPL 2022. The match is going to be played at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium, Pune on the 14th of May 2022.
KKR won its previous match against MI by a huge margin of 52 runs. It was not a very convincing batting performance from the team as they once again made changes and brought back Venkatesh Iyer, Ajinkya Rahane, and Pat Cummins into the lineup.
The batting lineup for KKR looks quite weak and we think it could struggle against the SRH batting lineup. The surface in Pune has been helpful for the spinners in recent matches and that could work in favor of batsmen like Nitish Rana or Shreyas Iyer, both of whom are excellent against spin.
Picking one of those two for the Top Batsmen KKR betting market is something you can consider.
The middle order of Russell, Cummins, and Narine (theoretically there to provide the power) is also likely to struggle against spin. You could bet against them to score some runs here as well.
There is no doubt that KKR is now picking its best bowling lineup. Cummins, Narine, Southee, and Russell form four world-class bowling options with Varun Chakravarthy as the fifth bowler.
The win against MI was KKR's second win in its previous three matches but we still don't think the shorter odds are being justified here.

SRH started IPL 2022 poorly went on a brilliant five-match winning run and is now once more on a four-match losing streak coming into this match. Fans would be hoping this is the time that the cycle repeats itself and SRH comes back to winning ways.
On paper, we think SRH matches up quite nicely against KKR. Its bowling lineup is likely to be reinforced with the return of Marco Jansen in this match but it is not yet certain if Washington Sundar is going to be available for selection or not.
SRH knows that its bowlers have to do the job if it has to win this match. Bhuvaneshwar Kumar, Umran Malik, and Kartik Tyagi played the previous match with support from Jagadeesh Suchith and Fazalhaq Farooqi.
There is no doubt that this is a bowling attack that can pick wickets but it is also one that can go the distance. Umran Malik, in particular, has been very expensive in the previous few matches. SRH needs to get back to its best bowling effort or else its batting is going to come under severe pressure.
SRH's biggest problem this season has been a lack of runs from Kane Williamson. As their captain and opening batsman, Williamson has not been able to score enough runs or maintain a good strike rate.
Abhishek Sharma also seems to have cooled down after getting a good start. This means that Rahul Tripathi, Nicholas Pooran, and Aiden Markram have to score runs in every match. As they are all free-stroking batters that take risks, they are going to fail from time to time.
That is where SRH is vulnerable. It needs to go hard at the bowling but does not have the depth in case it loses some early wickets.

The conditions have become a lot slower and spin-friendly at almost every venue in the IPL. This is true for Pune as well. The average scores have trended downward and teams have found it tough to be able to chase down totals here.
174 is the average winning total in the first inning here and that means something around 160 should be seen as par.

As a team, we think SRH is better constructed and it will just take a bit of spark from one of the leading players to help SRH get back to winning ways.

Froim tthat respect, the Over/Under line is quite accurate, however, the pitch has started to slow down and we think clearing the boundaries is going to be a lot more difficult. The number of sixes per match will come down and we can get ahead of it here and make some money while doing so!
This is a high-risk, high-reward bet. Once again, we are basing this recommendation on the fact that batting is becoming more and more difficult as the matches go by. Also, a fifty is most likely scored by one of the top order batters most of whom are in pretty poor form coming into this match. A small punt to try and make some super returns should be your strategy.
