We are there or there about in the Vitality T20 Blast 2022 and things are already looking well set as far as the qualification scenarios for the quarter-finals is concerned. We have only a few matches to go and most of those are not going to have any impact whatsoever on scenarios for the quarter-finals. Up next in the competition, Kent are set to take on Glamorgan in what will be the last matches for both these sides. This match is to be played on 3rd July 2022 at County Ground, Canterbury.
Kent have been one of the most consistent sides in the history of competition and they have failed to continue their form in this season. They are already eliminated from the contention and will be playing for their pride. Currently placed at the bottom-most spot on the points table, the Spitfires will be looking to go one spot high on the ladder with a win here in this match. On paper, they have a good side that is just lacking in execution at the moment. If they can play to their potential here, they should be in business to challenge Glamorgan here in this match.

Glamorgan had a poor last season and their season is moving in a similar direction this year as well. They are already languishing in the bottom half of the points table and even a win here won't be enough to push them into the top half. In addition to that, they were absolutely romped in their previous match and might be running a tad low on confidence. They do have the side on paper and can really topple even the best on their day. If they are able to play to their potential, getting past them could prove to be immensely difficult.
Tom Bevan, Sam Northeast, Colin Ingram, Billy Root, EJ Byrom, Chris Cooke, Daniel Douthwaite, Andrew Salter, James Weighell, Prem Sisodiya, Jamie McIlroy.
Both these sides have had a poor tournament by all standards and will want to finish on a high. Considering how the two sides have done in the tournament so far, Glamorgan look a better side, albeit ever so slightly. Also, their batting seems to be gaining some momentum and that puts them slightly ahead in the pecking order. Considering that and the other factors stated above, we would be placing our money on a Kent win and so should you.
