We are midway into the Lanka Premier League 2021 and the competition is just moving to a delicate situation. Two teams that were once placed in the tournament are now set to take on each other in an all important match. Dambulla Giants and Colombo Stars are set to take on each other in the upcoming contest. The match is to be played at R Premadasa Cricket Ground, Colombo.
Colombo Stars started off their campaign in a fantastic manner but with back to back losses, their campaign seems to be fizzling out now. As it currently stands, the Stars are placed at the fourth spot on the ladder and will be desperate to get into the mix.
Although, the Stars have not done anything substantial up until now as far as form is concerned, they do have a terrific side on paper. It might well be a matter of just one match for them to get back into the form. Considering the team they have on paper, all they need to do is to execute things well and if they are able to do that, beating them is going to very tough.

On paper, the Giants have a team with a terrific batting unit. Having said that, with their lower middle order not doing too well. If they are able to support the top order and bowlers to well, beating will will prove to be a rather uphill task.
