The Super Smash 2021-22 season continues and it is two teams at the opposite ends of the standings that are going to be taking on each other. The Canterbury Kings are dead last right now with one loss from the only game they have played. The Central Districts, on the other hand, have played two and won both of them.
Match prediction and cricket betting tips for Canterbury Kings vs Central Districts Super Smash 2021-22. The match is going to be played at the Hagley Oval, Christchurch on the 10th of December 2021.
The Canterbury Kings were just not strong enough in the batting department against the Wellington Firebirds. Set a target of 178, the Kings fell short quite comfortably. Not a single player from their lineup crossed fifty and there were just three sixes hit during the entire inning.
The Canterbury Kings don't really have too much depth in the squad to change things around. It will be down to the same lineup to perform this time around. Cole McConchie and Chad Bowes are the two batsmen that we would look out for.
The bowling lineup has Matt Henry, one of the best limited-overs bowlers in the world. He and Ed Nutall are the two bowlers that will pose the most threat to the opposition. Apart from these two, though. we think the rest of the bowling is average at best.
Chad Bowes, Ken McClure, Leo Carter, Cole McConchie, Cameron Fletcher, Mitchell Hay, Matt Henry, Matthew Hay, Todd Astle, Will Williams, Ed Nuttall.
The Central Districts have won both their matches thanks to some terrific batting performances. Dane Cleaver scored a century in the previous match while Tom Bruce and Greg Hay scored fifties in the second one. On paper, the Central Districts team does not seem to be like a very strong batting lineup but we never argue with current form! Its players are scoring runs and are certainly going to be in a better frame of mind coming into this match.
The wickets have been equally distributed among the bowlers. Rance, Wheeler, and Bracewell have all picked up three wickets each while Lennox has two as well.
It appears as if the Central Districts have a lot more depth and quality in their team when compared to the Canterbury Kings.
Greg Hay, Bayley Wiggins, Dane Cleaver, Christian Leopard, Tom Bruce, Josh Clarkson, Doug Bracewell, Ben Wheeler, Blair Tickner, Jayden Lennox, Seth Rance.
The team that wins the toss is going to want to field first.

A few clouds are predicted in Christchurch on match day but there does not appear to be too much rain around. The pitch at the Hagley Oval is excellent and you can expect a lot of runs to be scored. We would think a score of around 160-170 batting first is just about par for the venue.
We are going to bet on the form team and stick with the Central Districts. Its players have been much better with the bat and the bowling lineup seems to be pretty good as well.
Bet on the Central Districts to win.
