It is a bottom-of-the-table clash in the Women's Super Smash 2021-22 as the Central Hinds Women and Northern Spirit Women get ready to face off against each other. Northern Spirit has lost all five of its matches so far while Central Hinds has won one out of the five it has played.

N Dodd is the only player from the Central Hinds squad that has managed to put up some sort of a fight this season. She has scored a fifty-plus total twice now and is the only person from the entire squad to have done so. Atkinson, Greig, Watkin, and Tomlinson have all got starts but failed to carry on and really make it count. The batting lineup is weak and not very reliable.
Watkin has the most number of wickets in the tournament so far, 6, while Mair and Rowe have also bowled well to pick up three wickets each. The fact remains that most of the bowling attacks in this tournament are close to each other in terms of quality and there are only a handful of truly outstanding bowlers. None of those, however, feature in the Central Hinds lineup.

In fact, when you look at the batting unit of Northern Spirit, you would find it to be among the weakest in the entire tournament.
Gurrey, Patel, and Curtis are the other batters that have made some sort of a contribution and shown some fight.
Patel and Halliday are the best bowlers in the lineup but that is not a massive achievement. None of the bowlers in the lineup are reliable and while some of them may have good days, this is not a bowling unit that is going to give anyone sleepless nights.

The conditions are expected to be quite favorable for batting. There is no rain forecast and the pitch should be very flat as well. If anything, the outfield at the venue can be a bit slow and heavy, something that could affect the total scores that are achieved.
We think something around 130 is going to be quite handy batting first.
