The first day of the BPL 2022 season was a bit chalk and cheese. The first match saw 126 being chased with quite a bit of stuttering while the second one saw 183 chased down with ease. These were matches played on the same surface!
The Chattogram Challengers were the losers in the first match and Minster Dhaka was the loser in the second. Both of them are going to be playing against each other in this one now. The cricket betting sites are loading the odds in favor of Minster Dhaka to win this match.

The Chattogram Challengers will be hoping for a better batting performance than what we saw in the first match. Kennar Lewis and Will Jacks opened the batting and come out with intent but they got out without contributing too much. The rest of the batting lineup looked a bit underwhelming and nine of the local Bangladeshi players could pick up the slack.
This dependence on the top-2 could be a problem for the Chattogram Challengers.
Among the bowlers, Mehidy Hasan ended up with four wickets and was the standout, however, there were some others that bowled very well also. Shoriful Islam, Benny Howell, and Nasum Ahmed were all quite impressive raising hopes for a better performance from the Challengers once the batting gets sorted out.

Minster Dhaka scored 183 runs batting first., an excellent score on any surface but especially so in Dhaka, and still ended up losing. The fingers are immediately going to be pointed towards the bowling attack that failed to defend this total.
It does appear as if Minster Dhaka has loaded its side towards the batsmen. Rubel Hossain, Andre Russell, Ebadat Hossain, and Isuru Udana are all good bowlers but all of them can be expensive on their off-days and it seemed as if all of them were having an off-day together.
Still, we expect the team to continue with this same attack for at least another couple of matches.
The batting lineup did very well. Mohammad Shahzad, Tamim Iqbal, Mahmudullah, and Andre Russell got some valuable time in the middle. It was unfortunate how Andre Russell got run-out because he was looking in good form and could have made the difference in the last few overs.
In terms of batting strength, power, and depth Minster Dhaka seems to have the upper hand over the Chattogram Challengers.

There is no rain predicted in Dhaka but there was some dew. It almost appeared as if the pitch had gotten to bat on as the day progressed. This is the second match and so the same may be the case this time around. A par score on this surface is difficult to estimate with such varying matches being played but we do think something around 150-160 is the least that teams batting first will aim for.
We are going to bet on Minster Dhaka to win. They have the stronger batting lineup and while their bowling is not the best, it is not the worst either and can be expected to put up a better show against the Chattogram Challengers.

Mahmudullah was the only batsman that seems to be striking the ball well from ball one in the previous match and he even cleared the boundary a couple of times. The Over/Under line seems quite low and we reccomend a bet on the 'Over' in this case.
