Pistons


This is a pattern for four jugglers A, B, C and D. It can be juggled on a four count. On the first pass, A passes with C and B passes with D. The jugglers positions and first passes are shown below:

After the first pass, A moves left, B moves right, C moves forwards and D moves back.

On the second pass, A passes with D and B passes with C. This pass is shown in the next diagram:

After the second pass, A moves back, B moves forwards, C moves right and D moves left.

On the third pass, A passes with C and B passes with D.

This diagram is just like the first one, except all the jugglers have moved around one place.

Try mixing this pattern with the moving trapeze and see what you can come up with!
