CBI THE 21 CURVES
OF ANNAN
CBI

Lets see now, left, right, left, right, left, right, left...The Burma Road, the main supply line from Rangoon, Burma, to China travelled through some of the most rugged country immaginable. This short Section at Annan, China contains 21 (count 'em, 21) curves as it travels up through the mountain pass. Once the Japanese cut it in 1942 the only means of supplying troops in China was by air.
