First off......REMEMBER THAT NAME, 'cuz you're gonna hear ALOT of it in the future.� Welcome to one of the official Dan Silljer websites (there are 2 now). Dan Silljer is a local (to Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada) Blues musician, singer, and guitar player (left handed, just like Hendrix).� Dan is absolutely bursting with natural talent, he's been playing for about 7 years now, and sounds FAR better than most of the stuff you hear these days.� I've been playing for about 18 years now, and he plays circles around me many times over.� He possesses the purest, most natural knack and feel for the Blues, it must be some deep rooted inborn natural talent.� I wouldn't be afraid to compare him to fantastic Blues names such as Eric Clapton, Colin James, Stevie Ray Vaughan, and even Jimi Hendrix.� It's like ALL of the great Blues talent of history and legend have merged and gathered in Dan's soul.� Let me tell ya, once this talent was tapped and discovered, this city didn't know what hit it.� His stage presence absolutely COMMANDS attention, your eyes are drawn to the guitar, and your ears experience utter bliss.� He does the finest rendition of "Little Wing" (Hendrix and Stevie Ray Vaughan) you have ever heard.� It's very hard to put into words, but it's kinda like hearing EVERY great Blues talent that ever existed, and every style, all combined into one VERY POWERFUL package.� Another one of my fav' Dan tunes is "Can't you see" (Marshall Tucker Band, Matt Minglewood), done with his own special bluesy flair arrangement, with ALOT of feeling....it just kinda gets ya inside.� He throws his bluesy arrangements to several tunes not thought of as bluesy, with astounding results.� The scary thing about this whole deal, is that Dan can only get better, geez he gets better every time I hear him play.� I am so amazed I cannot find words to describe it, I have been searching for words to describe Dan and his talent for a long time now, and the only thing I can come up with is....simply put......AWESOME!!!!! I have had the pleasure and honor of knowing Dan since he was about 8 years old, and feel very much privileged to be able to have witnessed the metamorphosis Dan has undergone to arrive at his current level of remarkable talent. All I can say is LOOKOUT 'cuz he's only gonna get better (scary huh?), and soon he's gonna be knockin' the socks off of the whole music industry!!!!

UPDATE!!! BIG NEWS!!!! The Dan Silljer Band was the opening act for a recent Jeff Healey gig in Regina. Dan and his band stole the show, they were SMOKIN'!!!!!
