DABNEY GRENDEL

The story of a beautiful world destroyed.

Once upon a time Albia was a beautiful place. There were lovely trees
and birds and bugs and plenty of food everywhere. Creatures were all
immortal and all vegetarians. All the creatures - ettins, fashetties,
norns and grendels - were good friends.

But the evil Shee wanted a more exciting world. They set fire to the
beautiful world and destroyed the peaceful home of many living things.
In doing this, they exposed their laboratories, making it possible for
anyone to tamper with nature.

Most of the food was destroyed. Creatures were no longer immortal and
food was harder to find. Therefore all creatures became desperate and
ate bugs, birds and even each other to survive.

Through all of this, the good Hand of Albia stayed with the norns,
protected the norns, found food for the norns and comforted the norns.

The grendels were tough and streetwise. They didn't need protection or
comfort. They did, however, need food, and so they stole the food of
the norns.

The ettins were very quiet and peaceful and ran away to live with the
grendels. Many died out and those left were forgotten.

The fashetties, dooser-sized blue ettinorns, were afraid. They hid in
the lava pit and the aqua-fashetties hid in the Airlock. When grendels
were born, they travelled around and killed all the fashetties for food.

Two fashetties escaped to the world of Labia, a sort of Albia console.

These two fashetties, Maliani and Taciumi, populated the world of
Labia. They had three sons; Shamii, Tilikas, Rusalmei, and three
daughters; Kyrencia, Galigha and Hamabikaa.

Tilikas, Rusamei and Hamabikaa all fell into the sea while the good
Hand of Labia was attending the sick Galigha. Unfortunately the Puffer
Fish had not yet reached Labia and all three died.

During the funeral, Maliani also died. The good Hand began to give up
all hope of saving the fashetties from extinction.

Kyrencia and Shamii, the only two fashetties left in the whole
universe, became close friends and eventually mated. Kyrencia gave
birth to eight children in her life - two sons; Adam and Mickle, and
six daughters; Aime, Teena, Sachia, Rebekia, TaKisha and Shanaya.

Both Adam and Mickle were great breeders. Adam fathered 164 children
in his life and Mickle fathered 382!

And so the fashetties overpopulated and reigned...........in the world
of Labia.
