Aine, the Irish Goddess of health, was worshipped around County Limerick at Cnoc Aine. She was responsible for the vital spark of life which was believed to circulate around the entire body every twenty four hours. She was also thought to be of the Sidhe and was a patroness of crops, cattle and the moon.
