-----The paladin then turns her attention toward the wounded halfling. If the injured abdomen of the Dread Pirate offends her, Xavia shows no sign. She sets about binding his wounds and then informs Gimplefwick, "You will also need to see the Curate when you reach Oakwood." Glancing outside, the Lady Paladin then adds, "I wish Kazel would not choose to stay out there so long."
-----Seth, having completed creating fire bolts and silver bolts decides to play some music to keep himself calm. He takes out his harp, and begins to play an Elven tune that suggests tranquility, waterfalls and maidens picking wild flowers.
-----Krord comes back in carefully carrying the little girl. She looks around at the displaced flooring, the fireplace and the soldiers and priests that mill about with her characteristic wide eyes. The massive mercenary sits on the floor placing her on his lap near Brandel. Everyone then seems to relax as Seth continues to play.
-----Xavia looks over at the group and smiles at the little girl. Even Runik and Marast appear calm with the dwarf sitting down on a bench to prop his feet up and the elf leaning against a wall.
-----The music seems to carry on for a long time as heads begin to nod and the night continues to pass outside without a sound.
-----While Seth continues to play his music he says in a low voice that only the group can hear. "When do you think we should start looking for Lady Kazel?"
-----He drifts off and communicates with Albert and asks him if the hairy ones are still running away.
-----The Dread Pirate finishes chucking his caltrops down the hole and replies, "I'm pretty sure Kazel can take care of herself. If she'd wanted help, she would have asked fer it. Still, she might have gotten in over her head. Let's give her a little bit longer, then we can start to get concerned."
-----After a few moments all concerns pass as the half-elven butcher strides through the door of the tavern. She sees the rest of her companions huddled around a table near the door mainly listening to Seth as he continues to play.
-----Seth, Brandel and the Dread Pirate sit in chairs with Dread and the young mercenary relaxing after having had their wounds bandaged. Runik sits on a bench with his feet propped up while Marast slumps against a wall.
-----Krord sits on the floor near Brandel with the little girl in his lap. The little one smiles as she sees Kazel and waves to her as if to invite her to sit next to them.
-----Xavia frowns and asks Kazel quietly, "Did you observe anything out there we should know?"
-----The Dread Pirate looks up as Kazel enters and listens in as the paladin and the rogue speak.
-----Seth continues playing and watches Kazel enter. He then says quietly, "Albert does not see any of the hairy ones near the town, but I guess you already knew that." and very quietly so only the group and Kazel can hear, "I have a protection from Lycanthropy spell we can use, if we all stay near the wagon and move together -that's if you want to leave tonight."
-----Kazel replies, "No, actually there's nothing I saw out there whether you should or shouldn't know." She smiles briefly to the girl and nods to Seth but continues to speak to Xavia. "Someone told Krord to bring the girl down, who might that be? And what are we all doing sitting around the fire having a merry time?"
-----The half-elf shifts on her feet from side to side as if she can't settle down.
-----The Dread Pirate shrugs and replies, "It was my idea to bring the girl down. The werecritters might decide to attack the stables next. They are acting in an intelligent manner, unbefitting wild, vicious creatures. If an outside intelligence is controlling their actions, it might decide that killing our horses might be a good move, thus removing our ability to flee. Also, the werewolves might be able to smell traces of the girl in the stables, if they attack again. With no one out there, she would stand little chance. As fer sitting around, we're getting healing spells and the soldiers are coating their weapons with silver. And Seth and I are infected with lycanthropy. As if the plague wasn't enough."
-----The Dread Pirate continues, "I also thought the plan was to wait until before dawn, then try to track the werewolves down by their blood spoor. I don't know what anybodies' tracking ability is here, but it'll be tough enough to track them down without trying it at night."
-----Marast's eyes seem to catch the fire as he says, "Marast track beasts. We start when you say."
-----Xavia frowns and speaks up, "I think that our plans should change when morning arrives."
-----As everyone looks at the paladin with somewhat surprised expressions, she explains looking at the Dread Pirate, "We have lost one of our own in the attack this night and at least two of your number are 'injured'. My primary mission is to lead this patrol to Redmarsh and help in the recovery efforts. Going after the werecreatures may only impede our arrival to assist the fair people there. For you, the cost could also be great."
