-----Raven looks over the lesser dark one and says, "Nice suit of leather armor, but that's about it." Raven walks over to Aaron's body to look at the sword.
-----Sarah takes a ring and a wand from Devlins body. "I guess you guys wouldn't be too interested in this stuff." She says to the other heroes. "I'll take it and look it over for awhile, if you guys find anything you want me and daddy to look at just let me know." Sarah says, pocketing the wand and ring.
-----Raven nods as he looks at Aaron's sword. Raven looks over at Rinda, "Do you want to look at that leather armor I saw?"
-----"No, the armor may be good, but I will not use anything from a worshipper of the Dark," Rinda replies, with a small smile. After looking around, her smile fades and she adds, "We should burn these bodies. I would not want a child of the Great Hunter to feed on the remains of ones so foul."
-----"Are you finding anything, Sol?" Sarah asks moving over to the young warrior. By this time, Sol is looking in behind the second wall hanging and has entered behind it.
-----There appear to be voices heard in normal talking tones. Sol then answers Sarah still behind the wall hanging. He replies, "Yes. Just stay back fer a second."
-----After a moment, Sol backs out from behind the wall hanging and is followed by two people. The two appear to be men-at-arms. Besides their armor, they are carrying each a heavy crossbow slung over their shoulders and a morningstar tucked into a sheath at their belts. They make no aggressive movements and look around with wide-eyed expressions.
-----Raven right hand moves to the hilt of his sword by reflex. Raven says, "What goes on here?"
-----Sol fills Raven in, "They said their lord sent them here on a mission. Devlin apparently told them t'wait in there whilst the ceremony was started." Sol frowns darkly as he addresses the men-at-arms, "Though they didn't elaborate on either their master or mission. Explain yerselves, quickly. An' unless ye have proof of yer mission, I definitely want ye t'be dropping yer weapons on th' ground now." Like Raven, Sol's sword hand twitches.
-----"Easy, guys." Sarah says to Sol and Raven. "Well, I'm as interested as they are. You'd better start talking." She says to the two men.
-----Though no hostile tone accompanies his voice, one man frowns and asks with what authority Sol makes his demands.
-----Sol stands firm and simply answers, "Lord Lambert's."
-----Both mens faces pale and the surprise displayed in their eyes are unmistakable. They momentarily focus in the bright light on the savage forms of the two hunters, then at the guards standing over the captured and dead followers, then at the delicate, but insistent young mage and then back at the strong voiced young warrior. Their eyes finally alight at the beheaded body of the High Priestess.
-----As if facing their final judgement, the two men-at-arms look at each other and nod at the same time. Instantly they begin pulling their crossbows off their shoulders and dropping them along with their morningstars to the rocky floor.
-----Looking at Sol with an almost pleading tone, one of the men begins, "Please, sir! Weve seen enough of the wicked ways of witches n all so have mercy on us afore ye take too harsh a judgment on us. Ya see, our Lord was wishin a reconcilin wit the Dark Witch ye have killed there. He had sent us wit a payment o gold ta ask fer an alliance, ifn ye will, ta join forces wit em. So it twas, we finds da evil witches den here n never have we seen such horrors n goin ons in all our lives!"
-----The other man chimes in, "We done seen the wrongness o our ways! Ifn ye have mercy on us, we promises ta be achangin n hold the Word n Ways of Mighty Joren as our owns!"
-----The first one produces a parchment and continues with a bit of hesitation in his voice, "This be a message, our L . . our former Lord, sent wit us. With ye bein wit Lord Lambert, have a mercy, sir! Our former Lord be one named . . . Krondor!"
