-----Out of options for the time being, Sarah slumps her shoulders in resignation. "Fine. Take me and give to me your priestess to be sacrificed. You don't fool me for one minute with your talk of marriage. A powerful sorcerer like yourself would never take a clumsy, foolish apprentice like me for his wife." Sarah says, trying to use the only weapon she has left - her brain.
-----"You shall see the Dark, then you will be worthy . . ."Aaron begins to say with a strange light in his eyes. Suddenly a shadow falls across him from his left. As he starts, he spins to face Raven with short swords drawn.
-----The Hunter then wades in with his twin weapons. In a savage X pattern, Raven draws his swords one after the other diagonally across Aaron�s torso. Each weapon carves into the evil one spilling his blood.
-----Stunned by the ferocious attack, Aaron steps back and loses his footing falling to the floor as Raven stands over him. Aaron glares up at the ranger badly wounded.
-----Using his avoiding turn to give him momentum, Sol transforms it into a spin. The completion of which, is a wild swing at Devlin. Taking the evil priestess off guard, Sol�s short sword rips through her robe and underlying leather to find her flesh. Devlin staggers looking badly hurt!
-----Sol immediately stabs in but somehow Devlin parries the weapon. Again, Sol is ready for the High Priestess�s move and he turns her weapon aside.
-----Another whooshing sound goes over Sol�s head as he ducks the flame blade that the maniacal lesser priest carries.
-----The followers still scattering on the floor huddle toward the center of the cavern now that it is apparent their means of any kind of escape is blocked.
-----Ripping her arms free of the webbing Sarah blasts two magic missiles in the direction of the lesser priest stalking Sol with the flaming sword. The twin missiles strike the dark priest drawing a cry of pain that echoes across the cavern. He hesitates and glares across at what is happening by the gigantic web.
-----"In your next life Aaron, pick a Goddess who shows you the truth, not one who makes everything blurry." She smiles at him in a patronizing manner, trusting that Raven will have killed him by the time she is done talking.
-----With a snarl on his face Raven looks down at Aaron and says, "YOU shall see the Dark, then YOU will be dead and buried." With that Raven drives both swords into Aaron's chest. Aaron heaves up against the swords pushing down on his internal organs and blood erupts from his nose and mouth. A look of fear crosses his face before his body relaxes and dies.
-----At that point, Romney comes running around from behind the webbing.
-----When Sol comes back up from his evasion of the flaming sword, he's once more holding his Lathanian blade. Again he throws himself at Devlin.
-----The evil one steps to one side avoiding the young warrior. Just as Sol overextends his swing, Devlin catches him with a backslash. The maneuver lightly injures Sol�s off-arm.
-----Quickly she jabs into Sol�s side but the chainmail stops it. Sol comes down with an overhead swing, but the foul priestess stops it. The lesser priest comes close to hitting Sol, but the Gorian turns quickly and finds himself facing the two Dark ones.
-----Again the flame blade cuts through the air and Sol sidesteps it. The Dark matron then jabs at Sol but misses.
-----Sol grits his teeth and continues his assault. He does so with little subtlety, bringing the longsword around in a broad arc that looks to be aimed at severing Devlin's head. His first sweep rakes the magnificent sword across Devlin�s neck opening a wide gash there. The Priestess coughs as blood begins to fill her mouth. For just a moment, everything seems to stand still in the huge cavern.
-----Then balancing himself, Sol delivers his backslash putting all of his strength into his target. The Lathanian blade sweeps across catching the struggling Devlin just under the chin, cutting completely through her throat. Her dark robed body collapses to the floor as her head topples striking the horrified underling.
-----The priest briefly seems lost in his shock, but he recovers and fixes a murderous glare on Sol.
-----Raven looks over and sees Sol's battle. Raven breaks into a run right towards the lesser dark one.
-----"Romney! Free Rinda, then go help Sol!" Sarah commands the guard as he comes around the web. Sarah falls to her knees near Aaron, searching his body for something that was stolen from her long ago.
-----The guard seeing that no one immediately threatens the young mage runs over to Rinda where she stands still rigid. As soon as he gets there, he notices the dramatic ending of the High Priestess. With that the Huntress suddenly relaxes and begins flexing her arms and legs. Romney then races for the altar.
-----At that moment, Shema comes running from behind the webbing with Abram.
