-----Seeing that it does, Kazel climbs it and opens the next overhead trapdoor. It opens easily and the warm sunlight spills in, revealing the fact that the trapdoor opens out onto the roof level.
-----After she goes up the ladder, Kazel makes a round on the roof and checks for any signs of danger or interest. Once she determines that all is clear, she leans out over the edge of the roof and surveys the scene below where the zombie detonated. Assuming no one is hurt, she laughs heartily at the soiled guards, then whistles and waves to Curate Zharta to signal him to come up.
-----The Dread Pirate leans out the window, peering at the gathered, soiled masses. He then hold his sides and laughs maniacally, eventually sitting down and wiping his watering eyes. "That almost made the whole trip worthwhile. I wish we could do it again. Do ye think they have any other high priestesses we could chuck out the window at 'em? Arrr, probably none of the explodin' variety anywise. The only thing that would've made it better would've been if Sol and his crew had been down there when she spewed her guts all over everybody." The Dread Pirate begins laughing anew at the thought of Sarah Night covered with ropey strands of rotten zombie intestines. He manages to get control of himself and his laughter trails off as he hears Zharta approaching, though several spates of mad giggling do escape him whenever he glances out the window.
-----Once Kazel has gone up on the roof, Gimplefwick sighs and looks at Seth saying, "Arrr, Seth, ye didn't get much out o' those wizards back in the cheese factory, exceptin fer their spell books. What say we figure out what these things were that the priestess had and ye can have one of 'em. Whichever'd be most fittin fer a wizard."
-----The Dread Pirate briefly shows Seth a set of satin bracers and the gold ring. He then winks at Seth and states, "Apparently there always be time to loot a zombie afore it explodes." He then pockets the items before Zharta arrives.
-----Amid gasps and oaths bordering on the gadzooks fashion, voices are heard below in the room where the two dead priests were found. "Hallo!" a bold sounding voice calls from the lower trapdoor as Seth and the Dread Pirate realize that Kazel removed the ladder from below to scout around on the top level of the tower.
-----Kazel descends from the roof and lowers the ladder into the second floor after a quick peek at the people below. "Nothing up there," she reports to the others.
-----Seth heads down the ladder before any of the guards can climb it. At the bottom he looks over the fallen temple guards there, but doesnt get a chance to search them as Zharta is there among the templars. Seth merely says, "Just searching for evidence of what killed them. There are some wounded up stairs that need healing!"
-----The Dread Pirate pokes his head down the trapdoor to the scout below and says, "All clear up here. Ummm...sorry bout that explodin high priestess. Seemed like the best idea at the time. Anyway, we'll be down in a minute, guess theres no point in hangin around up here."
-----The Dread Pirate starts to clamber down the ladder, then stops and says to the others, "Somebody better pocket that crystal. And keep ahold of it this time. We seem to keep losin those things. I propose this time we hide it a bit better amongst our belongings. Maybe we can stick it in the middle of a loaf of bread or something, hide it from sight at least."
-----Dread continues down the ladder, wanting to get a close up look at Zharta and the other befouled templars.
-----As everyone descends, they see Zharta accompanied by at least a dozen of his templar guards. A sad look is on his face as he nods to two of his guards. The men then climb the ladder to check the condition of the level where the final fateful battle of the undead thing took place.
-----The rogues find a new challenge set upon them as Zharta and his lesser priests have noticeable spots of some black tar-like substance flecked upon their wardrobes. One of the younger priests clearly has not fully wiped the substance from his face instead sporting a dark smudge over his left lip like half of a mustache that has not been shaved away. A hysterical giggling threatens to well inside of more than one of the rogues.
-----The unused pig bladders still lie next to the dead bodies of the priests near the foot of the ladder.
-----Seeing the hurt and wounded condition of the rogues and their guards, Zharta says, "Please come away with us to the lower level where we can properly tend to your healing."
-----He then asks of the Dread Pirate, "What was it that did become of Ariella?"
