Welcome!Welcome!

Thanks for visiting this new location for my personal cemetery research website. Due to an anticipated move from Newark, Ohio, area and probable change of ISP server, I have moved this data to (hopfully) a more permanent new geocities site.

My hopes are this site will be useful for folks seeking answers to general or specific questions concerning tombstone transcribing and photo documentation. This page was first created in late Dec. 2005, so although it's no longer new, it will require some time to get completely formatted. If you have suggestions that you would like to share with me, please feel welcome to write. Please mention website by name.

My interest in this subject has become an obsession. A true indicator of this being the fact that I find it close or near impossible to drive past a cemetery with out stopping to document/ survey the memorials.

My name is Robert M. Sizelove, Sr., my interest in cemetery research goes back many years. I started out for very selfish reasons, including gaining more genealogical information on my ancesters. I soon realized the importance of gleaning the inscriptions from tombstones, as the data was in some cases all that remained to mark the existance of many of our ancestral loved ones. With weatherization and deterioriation of memorials, the need to record this important data so that it was not lost forever, became very important to me.
