The Graduate
Bountiful paydays one must earn.
Into the real world must also prepare.
Demanded to show what youve learned,
Things once broken must now repair.
The joy of freedom, theres no compare.
New opportunities great enough to astound.
Guarantees for fun nowhere.
Parents do nothing but hound.
Now another path has been found,
And you can do nothing but stare.
From early hardships you soon rebound,
And of college troubles youre aware.
Atop the table so vast and bare,
Put in the eggs, mix the yeast.
New responsibilities you cannot bear,
But youre about to enjoy a wonderful feast.
Finally you get to eat.
Graduation cake is such a treat. |
