One in Many
Living by others decree,
Not much heard but constant cries.
Conflict in the world one may see,
Hope once found now dies.
Overwhelmed by great lies.
Dealing with pain, some are done.
People learn and rebels rise,
But most struck down till there is none.
Only thing to do in life is run,
Out of danger and out of the way.
Routine again kills the fun
All throughout the day.
All work and no play
Makes daily life a constant bore.
Being but one caught in the fray,
There are too many not to be ignored.
All within well-known lore,
Life and love with playful zest.
But not well known is at our core,
We are sinful and horrid at best. |
