Zainal Abidin Ahmad (16 September 1895 - Oct 23 1973), also known as Zaaba is a writer and thinker Malays of Minangkabau who actively write about the 1940s.
Based on the achievements in the field of literature, he was one boy who managed to position itself as a leading figure in the history of Malaysia.
He is a respected scholar of Malay and for nearly 40 years, active in writing including translation.
His activities also focused on the publication of school textbooks and general reading in the Translation Bureau, Maktab Perguruan Sultan Idris.
