Welcome to my e-Gallery
Most of my work involves flowers and outdoor settings. I have
started painting more pets, usually using my two Whippets as
models. The summer has been pretty busy for me trying to paint as
much as possible in preparation for the upcoming Fall and Winter
shows.
One question I am often asked is why do you like to paint?
Painting is my way of expressing the joy I feel when I see
everyday things, moments or places. I want to represent
reality, not in a photographic sense, but to reflect my
response to what has caught my eye. I want my artwork to evoke
the mood, emotion, and feeling that I had when I painted it. So
I call my style representational. I feel that in this time
of stress, wars and turmoil one should be able to enjoy a
painting that lightens the heart and spirit and brings
serenity and even a bit of whimsy to our lives.
In addition to framed artwork I have done murals and trompe
l'oeil in private
homes as well as public places such as the Polk County Museum
in Bartow, Florida.

commission are available upon request.
