Each year we have a different theme for our Youth Retreat. In 2007, our theme was: God's Calling This year, 2008, our theme is "What is Good?" The retreat was a great success! Thank you to all those who have joined us. We hope you have enjoyed the weekend and learned something new! Let's keep the retreat spirit high. Post-gathering is happening on June 7, 2008 at 2pm at St. Agnes! Come join us! World Youth Day 2008 Local WYD will be happening in Martyrs' Shrine in Midland on July 17-20, 2008. More information can be found at here. Faith Sharing The Faith Sharing group at St. Agnes Church has provided all youths in the parish an opportunity to meditate, reflect, and share experiences with each other. It is a time where we gather to discuss issues important for us to build our Catholic faith and to understand the great deeds that God has done for us. Personally, I have been touched by other brothers and sisters in our faith community. I find that it has been very important to share ideas on how to live out our faith, and in doing so, taking what we have learned from each other to practice in our daily lives. I would not hesitate to recommend that all youths attend the Faith Sharing gatherings at St. Agnes on each second Friday of every month! Singspiration Singspiration at St. Agnes Church is also organized by the many dedicated youths of the parish. The purpose of Singspiration is to praise God through bible readings, reflection, and song. Personally, it provides a moment to reconcile with ourselves, with friends, and with God. I always find Singspiration refreshing when there are many difficult times going on in my life. I would not hesitate to recommend that all youths attend the Singspiration at St. Agnes on each fourth Friday of every month!
