I live in a gated community of about 300,000 called Clifford Estates.
Clifford is situated within a city called Panyu which in turn is
located right outside of a much larger city called Guangzhou, formerly known as Canton.
Guangzhou is an ever expanding city, and so while Panyu and Guangzhou used to be separate
cities, the bigger metropolios of Guangzhou has sort of swallowed up Panyu and turned it
into a suburb community. The population of Guangzhou is hard to define and predications
range anywhere from 3 to 11 million. Guangzhou is in the Guangdong province of China,
located in the southern part of the country, very near Hong Kong. The climate is
subtropical, so it's quite hot and very humid most of the year.
