Chris and Stephanie sat down at a table in the back away from the people that were there.
�So, Moongoose, tell me about yourself. Is Moongoose your real name?� Stephanie asked smiling at the young man in front of her.
Thinking quickly Chris said, �No, my real name is,� for a second Chris was going to tell her but quickly decided not to, not yet, �Keith.� �Sure give her your middle name, good one, she doesn�t know that.� Chris thought to himself.
�Oh, ok, so� can I call you Keith?
�Sure�
�Great. Tell me more about yourself.�
�Well not much to tell, I was born in New York, went to school, grew up, started a band, went to Japan, came back, doing concerts and now I am here with you?� Chris grinned at the look on Stephanie�s face.
�You know, you�re as bad as that smart ass Jericho.� Stephanie huffed.
Chris let out a small chuckle �Aww he�s not that bad.�
�Are you kidding me? He�s the biggest jackass I have ever met.�
�There�s got to be something you like about him, otherwise you could just ignore him.� Chris said smugly.
�Well, there� never mind.� Stephanie stopped feeling some tears start. She quickly changed the subject. �So what are going to order, I�m starved.�?
Chris rolled his eyes and sighed, he knew Stephanie was upset about something. He was determined to find out and try to help her, even if she never finds out it was really him, as long as she wasn�t upset. He never actually saw her smile in his presence, or at least not when he hasn�t been beaten in the ground. He has seen her beautiful smile from afar and of course on the TV monitor. He especially loved the look on her face when she got mad and when she was watching him get his ass kicked. �Kinda funny how I would enjoy getting the shit kicked out of me just to see her lovely face.� A smile grew on his face at the thought.
They soon ordered their drinks and food and as they ate they talked about everything wrestling, music, family, the weather. Still neither letting out what they were hiding. Sure Chris told her every detail of his childhood, except direct locations. He told all about the band and being in Japan. She talked about being a McMahon and growing up in the business. Chris could tell it upset her.
�Hey, I have an idea. I know this place up the road, serves great drinks and the music is fantastic.� Chris said trying to cheer he up.
�Sounds great, lead the way.� Stephanie said with a smile.
�Her eyes light up so bright when she smiles� Chris thought as she spoke. Not realizing he was staring at her.
�Hey,� Stephanie said snapping her fingers in front of his face, �You ok.�
�Yea, sorry, I was thinking� Chris blushed.
�About what?�
�How beautiful you look and how bright your eyes get when you smile� Chris spoke without thinking. �Oh god, did I say that�.
�Thank you, Keith, you�re not so bad yourself.� Stephanie said with a slight seductive grin.
That grin sent Chris�s mind into over drive. He knew if she found out right now that it was he, Chris Jericho, she would make sure the Alliance killed him. No he would have to wait. But how long? He doesn�t want things to go to far. And if something started, would he be able to stop so he can tell her the truth. He has to stay focused, that is the key. Lose it and who knows what will happen and what the consequences would be.
