Chapter 15 – Defeat
Raiden gave a little nod to Liu Kang and thoughts went through his head. He saw a vision of his younger brother dying and Shang killing him. Next thing you know, Shang put Kang into a little choke hold. Kang looked at the face of Shang and he could see all the hatred in his face and then saw a Chan in his eyes.
Kang started forcing the choke off of him and then nailed Shang in his chest. Reptile came over and tried to hit Kang from behind but Kang was aware that someone was behind him and back-kicked Reptile to a wall. Sounds of footsteps as Reptile disappeared sounded like he ran off, away from the fight. Shang went irate but Kang blocked every move that he threw.
“This kid has got it. He’s defeating Shang.” Raiden said to himself with a cheery voice.
Kang punched him a good time and Shang went to the ground near a little cement rise. A soul left him and Shang began to be desperate.
“Your losing your control of your own power. Shang, you lost.” Kang said.
“These souls are mine and they are rightfully mine.” Shang said wheezing.
“When someone steals something, then it is not theirs.” Kang said.
Shang then went running at Kang. Shang then felt a heavy cross kick across his chest and this knocked the air out of Shang.
“That was for Chan. This is for all the people that begged for mercy and you denied them!” Kang yelled as he ran and jump kicked him of the second floor through the banister and all the way down the cement ground.
Raiden started to clapped his hands in Liu Kang’s triumph.
Shang Tsung started to rise but severely bruised and out of breath he slowly started to speak.
“You may have won this battle Liu Kang, but you have not won this war!!!” Shang Tsung said as he vanished.
All seemed calm and Raiden teleported to where Kang was.
“Congratulations!” Raiden said.
“I don’t think its over yet.” Kang said in a haste.
“Yes, you are right; I feel a strong energy surrounding this island. We must escape.”
That second the castle started falling piece by piece.
