Just go to whatever section you want to in order to observe the game secrets you need to know about. Oh yeah, they aren't really secrets, just the way to get that really hard to find stuff that will improve the game ending you got. So just click on the section you need to go to to learn the stuff you want.
Okay. You beat the game once but didn't get the best ending? You never beat the game but want to do it right? Either way, here are the zodiac stones that are only a part of the overall best ending to the game. Also either way, I am excluding town names, so you have a little bit of a challenge determing which town you must go to, plus the names are different between the SNES and PSX versions of the game.
First of all, you have to have the Tablet of Yaru to even think of getting the stones. To get this, you need to do the following.
Once you have the tablet, you can begin collecting the stones from their various places.
That's it for the Zodiac Stones. Another factor involved in the best ending, though, is the Chaos Gates. We'll do those next.
First of all, you have to have the Brunhild Sword before you can even think of going after the gates. To get this wondrous blade, you have to go to the hidden temple in the NW of the Kastolation Sea. If you have a high enough reputation, you will recieve the sword of the gods, "Brunhild." Once you have that, the Chaos gates are yours.
As you can see, there are more choas gates than there are Sky Islands since there are multiple choas gates to the same island. Getting the best ending doesn't really require you to discover every choas gate. Just make sure you find enough so you have access to all the hidden map stages. Your "Chaos Frame" points displayed in the end credits is related to how many of these hidden maps you have visited. That's it for the Chaos Gates. Now let's learn about the three mystic treasures.
The three mystic treasures are another valuable asset for the quest for the best. They are:
Okay, now it's time to learn about arguably the biggest enigma of Ogre Battle... the mysterious Firecrest.
First off are the four weapons.
Then, you will want to take these four weapons to Shiguld, the Ruined City to exchange them for the Fire Crest.
So what exactly does this elusive item do? Well other than being able to be sold at a very high price, it is generally agreed that the Fireseal exists only to give you a hint at to how to access the hidden stage "Dragon's Haven." Having the Fireseal does not grant you access to the stage as previous theories suggested, nor do you need to have it to get the "best" ending. In fact, it is impossible (without cheating) to get the Fireseal and World ending, since to even get the Fireseal requires you to not recruit Fogel. That's all there is to know about this mysterious item.
