Throughout my life, I have met a lot of people and I like so few of them. There are basically 4 types of people in the world. The 1st types of people are the ultra right wing extremist religious types. This includes Christians, Muslims and Orthodox Jews. My sister in-law fits in with this category. My sister in-law is a member of the 7th Day adventure fascist religion. She believes among other things that AIDS is God's judgment upon the homosexuals. She also can't stand rock music, especially music with explicit lyrics, but she loves Michael Bolton. Now my sister in-law lived near Orlando, Florida and she would come down a couple of times a year to visit me when I was living in South Florida. My sister in-law would often lecture me about how "wrong" I was living my life and 1 day while she was visiting, I intentionally left my bedroom door open, so she could hear the lyrics from a tape that I was listening to from a group called the 2 Live Crew along with other music with explicit lyrics. Later that night, she comes into my room lecturing me about how "horrible" that music is I listen to. She told me, "Russell, that music you listen too is so evil and it comes from the devil and you need to throw that music in the trash."

    There was another time when my sister in-law wanted to come into my room to type up a term paper that she needed to do. While she was typing up her term paper, I decided to put on a tape from group called, Bodycount, which Ice T was in and every other word in the lyrics is motherfucker. That tape was on the Warner Brothers Label and Charleston Hesten had invested stock in Warner Brothers and he successfully bullied Warner Brothers into banning Ice Ts music because it offended him. While at a stock holders meeting Charleston Hesten read the lyrics to a Bodycount song called KKK Bitch, including all the swear words. In 1 part of the lyrics Ice T said, "she sucked my dick like a motherfucking vacuum." I would rather hear Charleston Hesten say that than Ice T! Anyway, the 1st song on the tape dealt with living in neighborhoods that have problems with gangs and gang violence and gang shootings and I feel that Ice T was being honest and telling it like it is and even though every other word in the lyrics was "fuck", my sister in-law would be understanding, right? Wrong! I have noticed that it really pisses people off when someone tells it like it is, which explains why so many people like to listen to music that is shit, like Michael Bolton because he tells it like it ain't! Anyway, my sister in-law tells me to turn off that "vile and filthy" music and I refused. She got so mad at me for refusing to turn off that music, she turns off the computer and tells that I can take the computer and stick it up my ass. That is not a very good thing to say from someone who is so gung ho about morality in music.

    Now these right wing extremist religious assholes represent less than 20% of the people in this country, so that only plays a small part of the equation as to why the world sucks so much. The 2nd and 3rd type of people in the world are mainstream and common people, which consists of 2a common "liberals" and common conservatives and I am old enough to realize that there isn't that much difference between a common liberal and a common conservative. In fact, I have met some common conservatives who are more open minded and tolerant than common liberals.

    About a year ago, this political group who was working on defeating George W Bush and they had a cool sounding name, which I prefer not to identify them, but they were having an open mike, so I decided to sign up. I decided to talk about 2 different things that I feel very strongly about, bullying in schools and police brutality. During the part about police brutality, I mentioned that a lot of police officers are sexual psychopaths because they like to do strip searches and I mentioned police officers sticking their fingers up someone's ass in which they find a crack pipe in their excrement. I'm sure that things like that happen all the time during full cavity searches, but very few people talk about it. Of course, the police officers probably find the excrement a lot more often than finding the crack pipe.

    I started out reading my piece about bullying in schools and I wasn't going to be soft about it. I decided to be extremely militant and nasty about it while speaking my mind. Then I went into my piece about sexual psychopaths in the police department doing strip searches and I told it like it is. I got about a 3rd of the way through that piece when some people with no sense of humor and closed minds started heckling me and then they turned the microphone off on me. Then the host came to me and told me that I am offending a lot of people. There were some other people who noticed that these people who claimed to be "alternative liberals" were showing their true colors for depriving my right to free speech and there was enough outcry from them, so they decided to turn the microphone back on to let me finish up, but they told me to make it quick and that was before I got to the part about the police officer getting fecal matter on his hands, which I decided to go on and mention anyway.

    After I was done, this women tells me that I made a good point about bullying in schools, but I was being way to vulgar and mentioned that I was pulling the audience towards me by talking about bullies, but I was pushing them back by using so much profanity and being so vulgar. The purpose of my life is not about being a popularity contest! The purpose of my life is sharing my vision with the world! She then tells me that most of the people in that audience were not jocks or cheerleaders, so therefore I was "wrong" for being so explicit. Now if those people aren't jocks or cheerleaders, then what are they? I then realized that these people are common people. I remember another time when I was taking a creative writing class and I wrote a story about a Catholic Priest who fell in love with some alter boys and it was so extreme, people laughed hysterically when I read it. Then the sobering reality of having a closed mind kicks in and they were so critical and told me that I shouldn't write stuff like that. I told my friend Ken at the time that I was upset about these people criticizing me about what I wrote and he was on their side, which only upset me more. He told me that those people were trying to "help" me and I had a bad attitude. I say, "fuck em!" I don't want their help. If they were really interested in helping me, they should send me money, so I can make a living at being a writer, which is the purpose of my life. Maybe I shouldn't get so angry at these common people when I can make fun of them instead. I often wonder, how do common people pick boogers out of their nose? Devoutly normal people get boogers in their nose too.

    Now the 4th type of people who are people who are extremely cool, who are capable of thinking for themselves and don't allow other people to do their thinking for them. 1 person who is like that is my friend, Joon. Joon really enjoys having conversations about boogers, bowel movements and diarrhea. When I lived in Florida, I would come over to Joon's house to watch gay porno films. How many women are there in the world who enjoy watching stuff like that? Joon is not a common person! Joon also had a roommate who was a 73-year-old lady and there were times that she would come out of her room and walk through the living room and she would quickly glance at the TV showing men sucking cock and fucking. Every time she came out of her room, while we were watching the porno film, Joon would laugh. What the world needs is more people who are capable of thinking for themselves and not allow other people to do their thinking for them and when and if that happens, the world wouldn't suck so much!

It is a good thing that Pat talked about 1 of his many experiences with censorship and he is willing to share with the world that it isn't just conservatives who are fucking assholes, but a lot of so called, "liberals" are very intolerant of hearing opinions that offend them and the word "liberal" used to mean being tolerant, but now a lot of so called "liberals" are a bunch of uptight PC assholes who want to take away freedom of speech from people they don't want to be hearing and that totally fucking sucks.  There will be more spoken words performances coming up in the future regarding how both liberals and conservatives are fucking assholes who want to take away the rights of people who are misunderstood, which is why it is important to go back to Pat's 2005 Vision of the World Page, where you will be entertained and informed!
