The nice thing about living in the twin cities is unlike many other parts of the country; it has been spared having to go through major disasters. The biggest disaster that the twin cities ever had to face was the Halloween Blizzard in 1991, but I got to miss that because I didn't move to the twin cities until 1994, so the biggest disaster I got to experience was on February 2, 1996 when the temperature went to -30° and that was after it stayed below 0 for an entire week, which was really starting to cause some problems.

All that changed on August 1, 2007 when I was driving to the University of Minnesota at around 6:10PM on 35w. Oh and I mentioned this before, but the University of Minnesota is wonderful place to go if you need to take a shit because there are plenty of bathrooms available! Anyway, I noticed that the traffic was much worse than usual, so I decided to exit right by here at Washington Avenue and the traffic was so backed up, it took over 10 minutes just to get onto Washington Avenue. I saw cars exiting on the entrance ramp to 35w, so I knew that something was wrong. I had to park way down on Riverside because the parking sucks. I had to walk over the Washington Avenue Bridge. I noticed at least 2 helicopters flying above and all kinds of emergency vehicles driving down the street.

I just thought that it was a bad car accident, but lots of people were staring on the Washington Avenue Bridge when I overheard someone talking on a cell phone mention that the 35w bridge had just collapsed. Well, that sure gave me an adrenaline rush and made what had been a very shitty day for me to turn out to be very exciting and it helped with the all the anxiety that I have and it took my mind off of all the things that I was worrying about. The only thing that makes me feel better is when I beat off while I am sniffing a bottle of poppers, which puts me in a state of euphoria! This reminds me of something that George Carlin once said, "hey Bob did you hear about that bridge collapsed?" Where? In Egypt. Well, fuck that, Egypt is too far! The closer the disaster is, the more excitement that it will create in people's minds. "Hey Bob, did you hear about the bridge that collapsed?" Where? In Minneapolis. Fuckin A dude, let's go down there and look at bodies! That's what I like about George Carlin. He's 1 of the few people that tells it like it is and doesn't tell you a bunch of bullshit!

It's disasters like this that truly illustrate how phony and pretentious most people really are. For example, car racing. People don't go down to watch cars drive around in a circle at 200 miles an hour. People go down there because they want to watch someone crash and burn! There have been many times when the guy crashes and gets ejected from the car and his dead body is lying on the ground and someone will say along with their phony crying, "isn't that awful?" Bullshit! People find shit like that to be entertainment! Even in the 21st century, there are all kinds of shit that people think about, but won't talk about and this happens to be 1 of them.

Now some people may be thinking, "that fucking bastard is being disrespectful to the victims of this tragedy." 1st of all, the existence of most forms of human life is a tragedy. 2nd of all, there were only 5 people who were killed, which has been turned into a 3 ring media circus for your entertainment. There are hundreds of people who die in car accidents everyday that you never hear about. There are over 150 people who kill themselves each day because this world is a cesspool of shit and people are extremely disrespectful to them because most people are phony, stuck up, pretentious assholes!

Meanwhile, the people who are truly being disrespectful to the victims of this tragedy is the media for turning it into a 3 ring circus so they can make lots of money selling commercials and all these politician motherfucker douchbag dirtbag fucking scum who are using this tragedy for their own political and personal gain. Furthermore, the people who are responsible for causing the bridge to collapse are the ultimate assholes who are disrespectful to the victims of this tragedy are the people who are responsible for causing this bridge to collapse in the 1st place. I strongly suspect some criminal activity here. Our beloved phony media handled with KARE has released a surveillance camera of the bridge collapse. There were multiple cameras that showed that bridge collapsed, but they are only willing to release 1 of them because they are covering something up. During a normal bridge collapse the concrete on 1 end will buckle and the concrete at the other end will buckle a few seconds later. During this collapse, the concrete on both ends collapsed simultaneously. There is something very suspicious here! At the very minimum, whoever designed and built that bridge did a deplorable job! All you have to do is look at a picture of the 35w bridge and the other bridge that runs parallel to it. I am no engineer, but I can tell that that other bridge was built much sturdier than the 35w bridge. It looks like they built the 35w bridge out of tin and cardboard. Well, maybe a little bit better, but not much!

I have been on that 35w bridge many times. I remember driving on it on September 3, 1996 when I was on my way to start a temp job in Roseville that was supposed to last a few months, but the guy in charge of that company decided to let me go after being there 1 day because he said that he wanted someone who has experience, but he really did it because he didn't like me. That fucking shitbag motherfucker corporate conformist fucking pig! Well, hopefully since then, he has gotten colon cancer and croaked. Better yet, I wish that he could have been on that bridge when it collapsed. Unfuckingfortunately, his name was not on the list of casualties. Actually, there are a lot of people that I know who I wish was on that bridge when it collapsed! Oh and here's a heads up! If someone has done something to fuck you over, it's perfectly normal to hate their guts. Something else that many people may think about, but won't talk about! Then again, it's OK to have hatred towards people as long as it gets the approval of the Fox News Channel and CNN who gets to decide who deserves to live and die and people who are different and misunderstood are not on the list of people who deserve to live!

I still have a lot of good memories of going on that bridge, which goes to April 1994, when I was staying at Motel 6 as I was trying to find a place to live and the scenery from the 35w bridge was amazing. Much better than what I saw in Florida with its flat land in that cesspool of shit! I drove over that bridge at least twice with my cat and I don't know how to explain to him that a bridge that he got to go on is no longer there. The last time I was on that bridge was on July 18 when I was coming back from my feast at Old Country Buffet. I am going to miss that bridge and it's going to be very inconvenient. I need to get to Old Country Buffet by 3:30PM in order to get lunch prices and now there may be so much gridlock, I may not be able to make it. From the destruction, a new and better bridge will rise as new life replaces the old. When Laura Ingalls Wilder croaked, her soul evolved into a much better 1, but that was after she was punished by being reincarnated as me for failing to write about the truth in her novels. After listening to me, I hope that you have noticed that I have changed a bit since I was Laura Ingalls! I had kind of a close call on August 1, 2007, but that is a higher power telling me that I still need to be here to provide you with a lot of thought provoking entertainment!

Well, Pat was on 35W just about a 1/2 mile south of that bridge when it collapsed and it was the biggest and most exciting thing that has happened in Minnesota since he moved there.  Pat just wanted to let you know about how phony so many people are based on the way people have treated him throughout his life.  Well that was his punishment for failing to tell it like it is when he was Laura Ingalls, but he is capable of creating a lot of interesting writing that very few people can do, so it is important to continue to read Pat's 2007 Vision of the World Page because he is 1 of the very few people who have a message that's interesting!
