John, son of Edward CUSHING, emigrated to America in 1837 and settled in Hamilton County, Ohio, at a place now known as Price Hill, a suburb of Cincinatti. From there he moved to Brown County, Ohio where he purchased a small farm in 1850. (Reference 1294).
