Arsenal FC

In late 1886, a group of workers from the Woolwich Arsenal Armament Factory decided to form a football team. They called themselves Dial Square as a reference to the sundial atop the entrance to the factory.

When Arsène Wenger arrived at Highbury in October 1996, Arsenal's fans wondered who he was. Now they probably wouldn't swap him for anyone. He has since become the club's longest-serving manager and most successful in terms of major titles. In his 18 years of managing Arsenal, he has won three Premier League titles, four FA Cups and four Charity Shields since his appointment in 1996. However, Arsenal has always been known as a big contender in the Premier league, but has never really exceded expectations.

Arsenal have had some of the best strikers in the world, including, Thierry Henry, Denis Berkamp, Robin Van Persie and Robert Pires. Thierry Henry scored 175 goals for the club with Ian Wright in second place with 104 goals
