My Greatest asset is representing the client by creating a balanced, well thought out piece using many different forms of art. For many years I have searched for the best way to express my art. Years ago, that involved an overhead projector. With computer graphics and programs like Adobe, my visions of art are achieved. The creation of these tools are what peaked my interest in graphic design. Once I started using the computer to put my designs together I never looked back. I am excited to officially be part of the graphic design world.
I created this logo for my neighborhood swim team to use on their swim caps. In the past, the team chose a new logo every year, constantly changing designs in a search for a bold, easily identifiable logo. They have now been using this logo for seven years. I first created the design using a program that is no longer available. I have since updated it using Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
Developing logos for new small businesses is my favorite type of project. I absolutely love seeing the finished project on their sign and on their merchandise. What a thrill it is to know that I was able to help a new owner with an affordable design. (& a small redesign when he opened up his second location!) I used Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator for this design. Visit SnoMania's facebook pagehere
Living in such a beautiful, historical area, there are many opportunities for photography. Taking photographs of the beauty all around me has enabled me to document it and not just pass it by. I have put together a collection of photographs of the historic area to put in a photo book for each of my kids as they leave and move on with their lives.
I enjoy setting up still life arrangements inside when my garden has interesting new plants or flowers. I feel this gives a different take on the typical photography of nature. I can be more creative and control the elements, like lighting and backgrounds, more to my liking.
I enjoy going out into nature alone and enjoying some quiet time. I love that I can take my phone out on my paddle board, even in the rain, to be able to get a shot I would not otherwise be able to get with my DSLR.
