The first Saturday of every month Shelby Humane takes
several adoptable animals, cats, kittens, puppies and/or dogs
and spends several hours at the
Hollywood Feed at Lee Branch.
The associates at Hollywood Feed are always on standby to assist
with any food or treat related questions. It is definitely a good
time!
Every Saturday during the Summer and Fall months the community of
Mt. Laurel holds a Farmers Market and Craft Fair. It features plenty of
goodies from the area, include fruts, vegetables, salsas, jellies, and
all sorts of hand made crafts. Stop by and see what Mt. Laurel
has to offer. Don't forget to stop by the Whiskers & Wags booth!

Shelby Humane Society Bark & Wine Charity Dinner and Auction
Every year the Board of Directors for the Shelby Humane Society holds a
dinner and auction fundraiser. The event includes a complimentary
wine and beer bar hosted during the silent auction. There is a strolling
dinner with carving station, pasta station and more. After dinner is served the live auction
begins. All proceeds go directly to the shelter. For more information visit

Every year Alabaster, AL hosts Bark in the Park, a major outdoor event
with food vendors, games, and plenty of adoptable animals! This event is
sponsored by Shelby Humane Society but often has pets from multiple area
organizations. This event is usually in October - watch for updates!
