About
Twin Cam Design Works

Profile Image

Twin Cam Design Works was established on the principle of engaging visuals in both automotive photography and graphic design. Founder, Nate Stevens, solidified a lifelong obsession with automobiles with his affinity for the art of photography more than 10 years ago. In that time, he has studied and cultivated a growing wealth of knowledge on current industry design standards in addition to a never-ending pursuit of perfecting image capture and post-processing techniques. Armed with an always-expanding understanding of visual methods both practical and virtual and an enthusiasm for period-correct motorsport livery and design—the end result became Twin Cam Design Works. Just as in a twin cam engine setup, the two distinct disciplines of design and photography are brought together in synchronous balance to create a finished product that is greater than merely the sum of its parts. The concept of TCDW was to capture the timeless elements of classic automotive photography and the enduring quality of definitive design into one visually striking package faithfully representing the golden era of motoring where the racing was perilous, and the driver's personalities were larger than life.

You may already be familiar with some of Nate's photographic and editorial work if you frequent Petrolicious. Nate has been honored to work with a number of familiar names within the automotive industry including Lamborghini, Jaguar, Singer Design, RM/Sotheby's, Gooding & Company, the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, and the Amelia Island Concours d'Elegance.
