The purpose of this website is to provide you, Cafe bike enthusiasts, a place to buy common parts to convert your bike into a cafe style motorcycle. We also provide links to well documented proceedues to do the most basic and common modifications to your bike in the "DIY Instructionals" page. If you don't have time, knowledge or the right tools to do do it yourself, you can always go to the "Contact" page to find our garage. We offer all types of services and maintenance for your motorcycle as well as modification and fabrication to morph your old bike into a new Cafe Racer!
In creating this site, we made sure that each page followed the same format across all pages to make browsing easy and uncluttered. We have also ensured that you can reach any page from the menu bar just under the banner on every page within this webiste.
In order to keep this website engaging, we have made sure to include images that appeal to the demographic of this website; and that is stylish and clean cafe bikes!. Websites shouldn't be difficult to navigate, so the overall format was kept simple and mostly the same for each page. All images in the banners are the same size and use white text on images of bikes in the background. The menu bar is simple and can take you to any page, no matter where you are in the site. The DIY page utilizes tables so that images and links are in the correct row by category of DIY jobs. The gallery includes pictures and videos of completed bikes purely for eye-candy.
If more time, resources and html know-how were available, I would like to make animated menus. For example, if you were to mouse over one of the links in the menu bar, a sub-menu would appear with more choices. This would be good for something like the DIY and Parts & Gear page. If a menu popped up, the use could immediately go to a category related to their needs. I would also like to get more custom images for the site. As of now, I just find pictures from google and put text over them to create my banners.
