1-22-04 You guys aren't going to believe this, but I finally have a running version of The Shane Page posted! All it's got is an essay right now, but that's cool enough. Pictures will be up soon, and then I'll try to type the other essays he's written. Tough work, but the reward is sweet (6 people might visit my site again when I tell them about this...wait, that's not a very sweet reward...). I owe all of this to Shane for typing the first essay for me and to Radiohead, for getting me through this tough, "idioteque" time. If you haven't bought OK Computer or at least Hail to the Thief, then you can't like music. It's just that simple. Like I said earlier, I've beaten Final Fantasy X-2 and Final Fantasy Tactics Advance, which are two great games that deserve reviews now that I'm a little less sleep deprived. Just a little less, though. Not enough for me to write those reviews now, just to consider the idea. Sorry, but I've already set up The Shane Page tonight, so time is not on my side anymore. Soon, though, I will review them. Oh, and I've started playing FFIX again. It's funny how I bought Xenosaga and Star Wars: Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast, yet instead of playing them, I've decided to beat a game I've owned and beaten already. Vivi has that effect on people...
1-30-04 There are more things for me to do here than I care to try and fathom, so I've decided to break it down and do things piece by piece. The reviews will come, but that is a lengthy process that I don't plan on doing right now. At the moment, I have something new on my plate. Jeremy has supplied me with a few of his pictures, which will be posted immediately. Actually, they should be up right now, but if they aren't, don't crucify me. Other than that, there's only a "minimal" amount of updation (I doubt that's a word...) I'll get around to. So until then, stay warm and feel the g's!!!
2-18-04 This is glorious, as Alan would say. I posted another link, but sadly, I could not find the 2nd part of the D&D skit. Sorry Robert. I found some time laying around, so I typed another one of Shane's essays and posted it (along with a little fixing done to Shane's title page... tee hee). I've taken more pictures, so the Jeremy Page (working title) is still on it's way. As it turns out, the program used to make this page does not agree with bitmap files, so all the pictures I originally took were crappy, thinking that I could fix them in Paint and then upload them. Man, was I ever wrong. That won't stop me though. Soon, all of Jeremy's pics will be posted! Well, I'm all worn out. Luckily, I've still got enough energy for a me-douken... the peasants are in for it tonight!
2-19-04 I'm just about fed up with MOREs. Checkpoint and On Your Own can be dealt with quite easily, but... MOREs. *shudder* Anything that takes an hour on average to finish is just way over the line. Sorry, that's all I have to say about math. I promise. Scouts honor. Gamer's Bio is slightly updated, with current Halo names and games played, and another essay has been added to the Shane Page. I've also started the Essay & Idea section, which has my essay posted now. Other than that, I might add some more stuff to the Essay & Idea section, or work on the Shane Page a little more, so check that out just in case. Oh, and sorry about your cards, Shane.
2-28-04 I must find something new to put on my site. Sure, the Shane Page was a well-recieved idea, but it just isn't enough. New essays and pictures have been added to the Shane Page, but my focus is shifting towards different ventures. I'm in the R&D phase of finding a new direction to go in. Between the six of you that come to my site, one of you has to have an idea of what I could do. One positive thing to acknowledge is that my own essays are catching on, but I have to find some time to write them. Earlier in my life I had written an essay explaining my own personal opinion on the meaning of "Akira." I expressed my feelings on what the ending meant, and have posted this in my essay and idea section. A while back, I was blazing through "Max Payne," when it dawned on me how completely retarded most of the dialogue in this game was. I wrote down the best quotes throughout the game and they are now available under the essay section also. I'll write some new things eventually, but until then the older stuff will have to suffice. One final note: Last night, I went to "Cleary's" in Chelsea for dinner, where there was some guy singing and playing guitar in the corner. Long story short, I coerced him into playing "Karma Police" while enjoying the fact that everyone in the restaraunt was trying to figure just what the hell they were listening to. Only Shane will fully understand this story, but I still think it's funny.
3-26-04 It's the breakthrough that I've been waiting for. Just recently, I was flooded with new ideas for the site. First things first; I have to get Jeremy's pics up. If only my digital camera charged faster... stupid thing. My writing class has stirred something deep within my psyche, giving me the drive to create new pieces. They have been consistently well-recieved; my friends seem to enjoy them, at least. So once I post "The Escape" (a fictional account of our attempts at escaping Shane's House... very entertaining), there will be more pieces of writing ready for me to post. Get ready world; here comes my freaky-ass stories! I've got a few more ideas on the burner; a page for our group's Halo multiplayer settings and games, as well as a page devoted to my crazy room (in all of it's game-filled glory). Speaking of Halo, our team (Alan, Brandan, Jeremy, and myself) took 1st place at a recent school-sponsored tournament. We destroyed the competition, breaking the spirits of NooBs throughout our area. The bracket will be posted as soon as possible. I still need to make a review for Final Fantasy X-2 and Tactics Advance, but that might be a while. Until all of this is done, farewell!

Latest Update: 7-17-04 What up, g's? In case you didn't notice, I've got the ol' "Our Halo" up and runnin'. It's got everything besides the multiplayer settings so far, which I'm working on right... now. My video game violence essay has been posted, and I've been getting ready to put my brother's FFVIII review up. It might be ready by the time I log off tonight, so check just in case. Strangely enough, tonight's motivation has been the 7+ minute epic, "Champagne Supernova." Shane probably just shat himself right there. For future reference: I've never actually disliked Oasis, I just like to mock you, Shane. In fact, I've owned the CD, "(What's the Story) Morning Glory," for about three years now. But enough shocking revelations for now... I've nearly grown tired of musing. If anybody out there is looking for CD's to buy, I suggest both Franz Ferdinand's debut and Modest Mouse's latest, "Good News for People Who Love Bad News." If you can only buy one, go with Modest Mouse. It's got some weird stuff going on, but still merits a good listening. Now I'm off...

7-13-04 Updates are a fickle thing. They require energy and time, both of which I have very little. Lately, work and Xenosaga have been very distracting. But I digress... As you can see, the menu is very handsome now. Not to mention the fact that there are a few additions to it... The "Our Halo" page contains multiplayer settings and memorable moments from our time with (what else?) Halo. That's right, RPG's aren't the only thing I do. Didn't you read the last update?! No? Oh, okay... I've condensed the reviews into one big mother-page, which now includes a review of Final Fantasy VIII (as written by my retarded, yet obsessive brother). Robert, if you're out there, write a review for Final Fantasy Tactics Advance and send it to me at [email protected]. I just don't have the time, and it's cool to have guest reviewers. There are also some new quotes, a new essay on the Shane Page, and a few new stories in the Essays section. I'll leave it to you to figure out what else I've done....
7-16-04 12:05 A.M. Hmmm... If you want to know what I've done lately, check out the 7-13 update. It's, uh, right below this one here. As you can tell, there's been a moderate overhaul. I've also changed the page headers, if anyone cares. I found time tonight... er, last night to write a tasty little anecdote which will appear on the upcoming "Our Halo" page. "Our Halo" will now include memorable moments in Halo history, multiplayer settings, and the "How to Win a Halo Tournament" guide written by myself, Alan, and Robert. Take that, bungie.com... I've also got an old essay on video game violence to post, but I'll probably do that later. Maybe I'll get around to it... I dunno. I asked Brandan to write a review for Final Fantasy VIII, but he never actually responded. Who knows how that'll work out. Brandan, same advice to you as I gave to Robert in the 7-13 update; write it and e-mail it if you feel like giving it a shot. Well, I'm getting a little tired now... G'night, everybody...or....G'mornin'....
