   A Bird’s eye-view of Sri  Vishveshateertha swamiji

Acharya Madhwa and the Krishna (being installed by him) at Udupi made this centre a cynosure for pilgrims. Its radiance was made to spread all over India by one among the eight seers of Udupi by name Sri Vishwesha Theertha Swamiji- He comes in the lineage of Sri Adhokshaja Theertha a direct disciple of Acharya Madhwa. He has got a great guru parampara. Sri Kamalaksha, Sri Vijayadhwaja, Sri Vishveswara, Sri Viswapathi and Sri Vishwamanya Theertha as his predecessors. He is short in stature but his fame is colossal. By nature he is a conservative with revolutionary ideas and a revolutionary with traditional thinking. He is in the forefront in all the activities that has taken place in and around Udupi for its amelioration, development and progress in socio, economic and spiritual fields. He is the most beloved as well as critically appreciated saint of recent times. He is a matrix of all this. His Vidya Guru Sri Vidyamanya Thertha applauded him for his unparallel scholarship. His diligent work earned him laurels where ever he went.  He is most un-assuming, avoids of ostentatious living, He has an obsession to serve the society and to give back to the society and people what they have given in the form of love. His literary Excellency is revealed even while he was a bud. We can see it in his ‘Sambavijaya’. He bloomed in his‘Geethasaroddhara’ Srimannyayasudhasara’ [Two Volumes] ‘Dashopanishatsara’ etc. His “Baraha’ (Writing Standard) is of greater quality which he still persists. He doesn't feel ashamed to stretch his fathom less bowl and even the donors are not niggardly when he entreats, as they know it is given to a ‘Satpatrhra’. A reformist in attitude. It is proved when he straight away walked into Harijan's colonies against the self imposed conservative norms of our society and his concern for the downtrodden is revealed when he went to Meenakshipuram to reconvert them to Hindu hold. His heart melts when he hears or sees some one in distress. This is revealed when he went on a 'Padayatra' to collect funds for famine struck Gulburga people, he built 150 houses for Hamsaladivi hurricane victims, He stretched his helping hand to Lathur earth quake victims, fire burnt   people of Srirangam or Kumbakonam or to Tsunami victims of Cuddolore. He is not for self-glory. He never advertises when he does any service-His motto is Acharys's saying 'Naana Janasya Shushrusha Karthvya Karavanmithe'. This does not mean that he neglects his prescribed Yati niyamas(Tenets). He strictly follows them without disturbing his social responsibilities. Today's Krishna Matha at Udupi in its renovated shape is his contribution. The Badagumalige, Kanaka Mantapa, Rajangana renovation are all his doings. -Yatri nivasas at Udipi, Badri, Rameshwaram, Thirumala, Varanasi, Hridwar-mention a place of importance his contribution will be there. His concern for Sanskrit and Kannada through his establishment of ‘Ananda Theertha Prathistana’ and publication of ‘Sarvamoola grantha’ in Sanskrit edited by Vidya Vachaspathi Bannajee Govindacharya and in Kannada by many reputed scholars. His thirst for helping the poor who long to get educated led to establish Poorna Prajna Vidya Petha at Bangalore Chennai, Hyderabad, Pajaka etc, and is giving scholarships to deserving meritorious students. He strongly believes in the saying that ‘Janatha ki Seva is Janardhana Seva’ It is given went when he showed his concern for poor who couldn’t afford to get medical aid were given medical services through his free dispensaries and hospitals. His ‘Bhootha-Daya’ is shown through Goshala scheme. His greatest service to humanity is in producing required number of 'Purohits' and 'Pandits' for awakening the dormant religious sentiments of many longing souls. His Mathas established in all-important places all over India has brought a sea of change among the people who were leaning towards materialistic life. We can go on narrating incident after incident to show his munificence. Where is the end? Such a great soul has undertaken the arduous 'Ashrama Deeksha' for the welfare of all. We are blessed souls as we are with him.

The differences between every element of creation are an immutable and according to their ' karma'.

Dharma (Religion) is like our mother we cannot change her because she is bad. As one’s mother cannot be changed at one’s whim so also one’s Dharma. We don’t have any choice in this regard.

Present day youth apparently appears to be rugged like sand on banks of a river. When we scoop it out we find sweet waters. Today’s young generation has lots of creativity and capacity to do any activity.

If these qualities are tuned with patriotism and devotion to God it will have enormous positive results.
