Karachi Safari Park   opened in 1970, is a public funded 'family-only'   safari park   covering an area of 148 acres (0.60 km 2 ), located in   Gulshan-e-Iqbal ,  Karachi ,  Sindh ,  Pakistan . It has a zoo, geared with viewing facilities like a  chairlift   and safari tracks, as well as two natural lakes. A privately funded amusement park,  Go Aish , is located in the Safari Park's vicinity.

Karachi Safari Park was inaugurated in 1970 by Lieutenant General Atiq-ur-Rehman. It was an independent project of the then   Karachi Municipal Corporation . The creation of an independent zoo, safari and aquarium department followed in 1995. Karachi Safari Park is now an independent wing of the Community Development Department of  City District Government of Karachi   and has been designated as a 'family park'.

Children of all age groups love to see and learn about different animals especially the wild animals that are not found in the urban areas. The safari park Karachi has in it a lot of wild animals which children are very to happy to see. All the animals are kept in secure and locked territories with no chance to harm the visitors. Parents can take their children here to provide them a chance to see before them the animals live.

The safari park covers a huge area which has separate enclaves for the animals in which the animals have separate areas to move around and take bath. Wild animals like Lion, Elephant, Deer, Camel, Tigers, Lama, Mountain goats, Chimpanzee, crocodiles are kept there. Many beautiful birds like parrots, pigeons, Flamingo, peacock are seen in the park. Park is beautifully decorated with the green trees and flowering plants due to which the theme of true safari is strengthen.

Inside the Safari park Karachi there is a natural lake. Few years back the lake was a resident of many wild birds. The lake makes a good combination with the theme and environment of the park providing theIn 2006 the tenth Mayor of Karachi Syed Mustafa Kamal inaugurated a chairlift in the park. It gives the riders a 10 minutes ride which is an awesome way to see the park from height.

Go Aish is a theme park which is located inside the Safari Park Karachi. The park has many recreational and sports activities for children of all age groups, like Ropes course, paintball, quad biking, a mini golf course and indoor climbing.

Visitors can also enjoy pedals boating in the safari park Karachi.

300 acres land in the safari park have been devoted as a camping site. The whole area is only used for the camping activities.
