Uchiha Sasuke



Uchiha Sasuke is first on my list, because mainly it was him who got me hooked in the Naruto series. haha. Biased as you may say,but according to recent survey, Sasuke surpasses Naruto in terms of popularity. But then again, that's avery subjective thing, because maybe...a lot of girls voted for that stuff and not boys...anyway...

ABOUT

Sasuke is the last *loyal* survivor of the Uchiha clan. His whole clan was murdered by his brother Itachi for an unknown reason. This drives him to hate his brother and make his goal in life to kill his brother for revenge.

Consequently, he becomes a very dark and serious kid. This makes him look cool to others especially to his female classmates. He doesn't care about it though, since he devotes all his time and energy into improving so that he could have enough strength to fulfill his goal.

What momentarily changes him is his genin teammates Uzumaki Naruto and Haruno Sakura, and his teacher Hatake Kakashi, who in a way, has gone through the same experiences that he has.

Being a descendant of the Uchiha clan, he possesses the bloodline limit, Sharingan, which enables him to see through an opponent's moves and copy them. This ability adds up to the fact that he is one ninja that could improve greatly, given that he was a talented ninja even before he could use the bloodline limit.

    *sigh* Though we would like asmuch to keep Sasuke to ourselves, we cannot. For it is in Kishimoto-san's hands to decide whom Sasuke goes to....
    Pairings

    Sasuke/Sakura This is the most realistic pairing as of now, since Sakura, as one of Sasuke's teammates, is always by his side. There have been numerous hints to this pairings, though (in my opinion)there is nothing to like it, since Sakura's motives for caring so much for Sasuke roots from her lifetime crush on Sasuke. Some hints:
    episode 33 After Sakura's been beaten up by the Sound ninjas, Sasuke, with the help of the cursed seal, recovers (looking extremely scary and powerful) and seeing Sakura's state, asks her, "Who did that to you,Sakura?!"
    After breaking Zaku's arms, Sasuke moves on to make Dosu pay. But Sakura, horrified with Sasuke's change tries to stop him. but Sasuke wouldn't listen. Seeing no other choice (or did she find another chance to hug Sasuke?) she embraces Sasuke so that he'll stop. The cursed seal immediately retreats, and Sasuke turns back to normal.

    Episode 109

    Sakura tries to stop Sasuke from leaving Konoha. Sasuke tries to shoo her away, but Sakura still insists. Just as Sakura was about to scream, Sasuke appears behind her and whispers a "thank you" before making her pass out.
    It doesn't seem to romantic, but hey, if Sakura were just another person, Sasuke would hit her even before she could start to speak. 1
