SPEECH BY THE PRINCIPAL ON THE SCIENCE EXHIBITION DAY Honorable Chief Guest, Mr. Samair Shah, D.C. Sukkur, respectable members of the local administration, Ladies and Gentlemen, Students and Staff. Good Morning to all

It is a great honour for me to welcome you all here on the floor of St. Mary’s High school, Sukkur. We have organized this day to recognizes the potential and the talents of St. Marians and also we can give the opportunity to our young generation to be future scientist and the leader of the country and the world. Looking at the endeavor and the efforts put in this project by the teachers and the students I am dreaming of future Scientists who are going to struggle for themselves and the country. There going to be many Qadieer Khan and the other people who will lead my country to the brighter future. I live with hope for better future.

St. Mary’s is the institution which has been struggling since its existence to impart quality education with values of life. It hs been a struggle all through these years and has come a long way, and has seen many ups and downs. This journey has been strenuous, challenging and exciting at the same time, many miles have been covered yet many more to be traversed.

We have achieved a lot, developed the School from shambles to this new structure yet a lot to be done.

Requests

  1. Our first and foremost priority is to get a playground for the

children. We have a plot from the Railway

Authorities but it is not enough for the children. We want to acquire another piece of land adjacent to the plot on lease, we have to pay 33 lacs. We appeal to our ex students who are well established, if they can do contribute towards this noble cause. The show of good spirit and dedication will be appreciated.

  1. The children require filtered water if arrangements can be made for a filter plant and installed in the School Premises, this will give hygienic and purified water to the children to drink.

  2. New washrooms are needed, as the number of students keeps on increasing.

  3. More Books are required for the library if any one can donate books for the children that would really be commendable.

  4. The auditorium hall has been constructed and now chairs are required for the children to sit. Additional help for this will give a new life to the auditorium.

  5. There is a growing demand of the parents to upgrade the school, for this we need to have at least five classrooms We appeal to the generous people to come forward and help us. If we educate one child, we have educated the whole family.

  6. The school faces tremendous conveyance problem. If one vehicle can be arranged, the girl students from remote areas could be brought to school and get education.

In the end I again thank Honorable Guests Mr. Sameer Shah and other guests or taking time off from busy schedule and join us on this auspicious day.

Congratulation to all of you for your endeavors and efforts
