We are on our way south through the BC interior towards Abbotsford on the edge of the large city of Vancouver.

First we stopped to get a picture of the vintage fire engine at the Prince Rupert Museum

The inscription describes the reading of the Riot Act - twice - in 1958 under a barrage of "rocks, bricks, beer bottles and sticks".

We thought Prince Rupert a quiet little place...

All about the Riot Act - takes a while.

We stopped overnight in Burns Lake, after picnicking in this roadside park.

There is a creek running through the gorge with a swimming hole.

Looked lovely but there is a warning about jumping off the cliffs and this danger notice.

Lots of rock in Canada....
