Today we are heading for Agate Beach on the North coast of the
Naikoon
park.
The park is almost entirely forest with some campsites and amazing
beaches, sand, gravel, pebbles and boulders.
Most of the park is best accessed by kayak.
The last part of the park, before the beach is temperate
rain forest. The "globes" that you see in this photograph
are huge clumps of moss growing on dead branches. The trees are
covered in them.
This is the creek at Tow
Hill. We were rock hunting but there were people on the shore
catching crabs with huge dip nets.
