Project Schedule - NEW - revised 20th June
This is a multi-disciplinary project being undertaken at the University of South Australia's School of Electrical and Information Engineering located at Mawson Lakes.

The project aim is to develop a dust and gas sensoring module for use on Australian farms.

The module will require only bi-annual maintenance and will send sensor data in real-time to a web-based database.

The module monitors:
1) Ammonia and carbon dioxide levels.
2) Temperature and humidity.
3) Airborne dust concentration.

Our project is continuing the 2003 and 2004 work of the project sponsor, the South Australian Research and Development Institute.

The improvements being made by this project are:

1) An all-in-one temperature/humidity/ammonia/carbon dioxide/dust sensing module.
2) A reduction in the physical size and weight of the module.
3) A easier means of inputting the sensing data from the module to a PC.
4) A real-time data link to a web-server database.
