Competition:
Most of the design portfolios I visited were very aesthetically pleasing. Many featured unique and moving elements that would draw the eye, as well as a suite of colors and typefaces to keep things engaging. Unfortunately, some of the sites took these too far, and the site became distracting and hard to navigate due to its gimmicks. I intend to strike a balance between function and form to create a website that is practical, but still has flair.
