Dixon
This large kees will charm you from the moment you meet him! Dixon is gentle, well-mannered, affectionate, and enjoys toys, tug, car/truck rides and people. He is highly intelligent and very eager to please. Dixon was a stray, released to rescue by animal control in Houston. He is heartworm positive at the moment, but his treatment begins on January 28th. This fellow is so docile that when we turned him over to brush out his tummy, we were shocked to find that he was not neutered! He's never marked or had an accident in the house, and gets along well with the other dogs. We estimate his age to be somewhere between 2 and 3 years old. Bear
This beautiful silver kees was turned over to rescue on November 27th. Even though he had known only 1 home since he was a tiny puppy, 8 year old Bear slipped right in with the rest of our dogs as if he had always been here. Bear knows his crate and is well trained. Bear loves to take walks and knows his own leash on sight. He does very well in the house: he's housetrained and knows not to get in the garbage or up on the counter. Bear is current on his shots, heartworm negative and on preventative, and was neutered as a very young dog. He is READY for the right forever home, preferably with an experience dog owner. Dolly
Dolly's bio is pending, but I can tell you that she is very young, probably under a year old, very energetic, yet affectionate enough that she'll want to be a lapdog in the evening during TV time. Her ideal home is one with an active family. She would do very well in a home that participates in Obedience or Agility with their dogs. Email
