Tesla currently makes the model X and the model S. They are also taking pre-orders for their model 3. The model 3 will be going into production in 2017. All three models are pure electric cars, or PEVs. They burn zero gasoline to drive.

Tesla Model S

The Tesla Model S starts at $63,400 and comes in 3 trim packages.

The Model S has a mileage range of 240 to 294 miles, and has 0-60 times starting at 2.8 seconds. It is also decked out with autopilot that can keep the vehicle within its lane, self-park, and can automatically change lanes when the turn signal is used.

Tesla Model X

The Tesla Model X starts at $69,300 and also comes in the same 3 trim packages as the Model S.

The Model X has doors that open in supercar winged fashion. It has passenger seating for seven. Its range is about 250 miles per charge, and its 0-60 times are impressive at 3.2 seconds to 6 seconds. Additionally, it is designed to be as safe as possible. The batteries are mounted low to bring down the center of gravity, and reduce rollover risk by half that of other SUVs.

Tesla Model 3

The Tesla Model 3 starts at $35,000 and you can reserve your pre-order today for $1,000.

The Model 3 is supposed to get 215 miles per charge, and go 0-60 in just under 6 seconds. It has seating for 5 and also has the available autopilot features that are available in the Model 3. Like the other Tesla models, it is built for comfort, safety, and luxury.
