*Play your best and don't bring an attitude. Bust your butt for ground balls, make hustle plays, show the coach that you want it. Be a "yes sir" "no sir" kind of player, show the coach that you are willing to listen and learn. Good luck!

*And to help you do the above, get in the best possible shape you can. It's impossible for coaches not to notice you if you're first in shuttles, wind sprints, and other conditioning drills. Since that's typically what teams do first you should get their attention and as long as your stick skills are solid you will have a shot.

*If the coach has ever seen you play or anything like that...after a game or practice he is watching, ask him IN PERSON what you need to improve on. Be polite also things like that can go a long way you would be surprised. Coaches love players taking initiative

*Hard work and determination.

*Whatever your not good at, improve on.

*Be nice to the coaches, don't look at them like they're crazy while teaching you something.
