Tech Monkey came about in a fevered dream while working on a down server at 2:00 AM. The server room was sweltering, the server was beeping a BIOS error, and the boss was calling for the 200th time wanting to know why it's not back up yet.

     I could really have used a forum to share and compare information on what I was seeing. I realized a website sharing news and details for generalized IT people like me would be just the thing! And so, Tech Monkey was born.
