The concept “Dent digest SA” was derived from a process of seeing that, it is a big dent or heavy punch to South Africans and Africans, for not having the very necessary skills to boost the country’s economy, wealth and to live better life in their continent. By using the word “digest” it means we’re trying to change that, and give them the very necessary skills that they deserve to live better life and boost the country’s economy.

 Dent digest SA’S vision is that, we want to see more previously disadvantaged people joining the motor industry and become leaders. We also want to see more trained and qualified black trainers, Engineers / Technologist, Researches, Tool designers, Technicians, Artisans, Assessors, moderators etc, in the motor industry, particularly in the Auto body repair service / sector (ABR), especially in the field of paintless dent repair / removal and windscreen cracks removal, created by small stones on the road.

 We believe that it is our responsibility to act as a catalyst, so as to fulfill the whistle blowing for development in South Africa and the continent. This plan provides a baseline study of where the sector’s focus will be in the future. This plan will be evaluated and revised annually.

The best equipment anywhere in the world means nothing without the right people, which is why we want to go out and equip each and every African on the unusual and scarce skills in all industries not just motor industry, but motor industry is the one we will put the finger on, up until we have highly skilled employees as mentioned above. We will equip them with the necessary expertise to move in the right direction.

It is only through development of our people that can make us proud, that South Africa and the continent belongs to everyone who lives in it / her.

Our Training

The service delivery of Dent Digest SA’s initiative will at the end of the day, produce more competent Paintless dent repair technicians who will be available on a national and international basis in the years to come.

This paintless dent repair training programme is underway taking learners who are unemployed, pre-employed and employed, experience or no experience in Auto body repairs. They will be taken on an intensive training curriculum which is modular based in content.

THE MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS  FOR THOSE  WHO WANT TO  BE TRAINED AS TECHNICIANS ARE  AS  FOLLOWS:

§ School leaving certificate/N3 with mathematics and Science

§  Valid Drivers licence

§  Physically fit

§  Eye for detail (colour vision)

§  Enjoy working with hands

§  Able to solve practical problems

Paintless Dent Removal Course (MERSETA AND SAQA acCredited)

The course will be offered as a power course for those who are interested to complete POEs under supervision and with assistance.

Please note that we also assist our learners in finding them jobs (guaranteed) we will also assist those who want to start their own dent repair businesses and those who want to run their own franchises.

The cost of the course is R 40 000 all inclusive (i.e. training manuals, Pdr tools and supervision on the job – training.

Duration of the Course: 3-8 weeks (theory and practice in the class)

 Training days run from 9hoo till 15hoo (Monday – Thursday)

Fridays only (9hoo – 12hoo)
