The island came to turmoil. War, bloodshed. Yet somehow managed to make it though. Now, oddly, a mist hangs over some of the island, mist which one could get lost in if they wandered too far. The island regained it's peaceful stance after the portal was closed; but knowing that, even under a spell, they had come that close to death, it changed them, if even the littlest bit.

Friday: Sunny, small amount of humidity, small chance of rain past the afternoon.
Saturday: Drizzle every once and a while, otherwise mostly cloudly.
